The development of virtual and augmented reality continues in the retail world! Westfield are trialing an interactive mirror, allowing shoppers to browse and purchase items from a personal stylist in their hotel room. The mirror is comprised of 2 screens; one that provides a live feed to the personal stylist, and another that displays the products for shoppers to browse. Purchases will be delivered to the rooms within 90 minutes, and the mirrors are being trialed in the Sanderson Hotel. Is this a novelty idea or is this the future for retail?
