Ted Baker revenue up 14.4%

British clothing company Ted Baker has announced revenue for 28 weeks to August 13 had risen 14.4% to £259.5 million, led by strong demand and online growth. The group, which trades from 470 stores and holds concessions globally, claimed UK and Europe retail sales for the period rose 8.5% to £131m! Online sales are said to have jumped 29.7% to £29.7m. The brand’s quirky detailing on their dresses, suits and shirts have allowed them to stand out from rivals in Britain, and increasingly overseas. Wholesale sales also increased 16.7%, and the company has claimed full-year results would be second-half weighted
