SuperGroup’s profits and sales increase as founder resigns

SuperGroup has reported a rise in full-year profits and like-for-like sales. Profits rose by 21.1% to £589.5m as they focus on product innovation and international expansion. SuperGroup have continued to expand into global markets, and as a result and to keep up with growing demand across Europe and North America, the retail business will be opening 2 new distribution centres in 2016.

The new comes shortly after revealing one of its founders, James Holder, has resigned from his role as Brand and Design Director and will instead take up a role leading the group’s design consultancy, SuperDesign Lab, and spend more time on his personal interests.
