As part of Larsson’s “Way Forward” plan for the company, Ralph Lauren have hired the Chief Financial Officer of handbag maker, Coach. Jane Nielson will join in September as CFO where she will not only oversee the company’s finances, she will handle procurement, store operations, information technology and investor relations. Nielson joined Coach in 2011, and was previously CFO of PepsiCo Inc.’s Americas beverages division. In addition, Jeffrey Kuster has been named Group President for the Americas. Ralph Lauren gained 2.6% to $96.18 at the close in NY trading on Thursday; Coach lost 1.5%.
