Primark is the latest retailer to join the project. American Dream will be a 3m square-foot shopping and entertainment in New Jersey, opening in 2017. Primark’s store will be 100,000 square feet, located on the third floor in an off-price district, another step in their expansion across the Northeast of the US.
The American Dream development will have 500 stores, restaurants and services, including Saks Fifth Avenue, Lord & Taylor, FAO Schwartz, Toys ‘R’ Us, Uniqlo, Zara, Victoria’s Secret, Aritzia, Lululemon, Banana Republic, Gap, MAC and Microsoft. It will have a designated luxury area, 460,000 square-feet of space dedicated to European and American designers; Hermès will have an 8,000 square-foot store over two levels. It will also have North America’s largest fully enclosed DreamWorks-theme water park, an amusement park and a 16-story Big Snow indoor ski and snow park, a Sea Life Aquarium, NHL-sized ice skating ring, Cinemax movie theatre and 1,5000 seat live theatre.
