Pets Corner buys rival PamPurredPets

Endaba Group

Pets Corner has bought the entire shareholding of PamPurredPets in a deal worth £6m as they seek to expand their store count across the UK. The new deal adds a further 51 stores to their collection of 110 existing shops, and makes Pets Corner the second biggest pet chain behind the industry leader, Pets at Home, which has over 350 stores. The acquisition comes as the new Chief Executive of Pets at Home Ian Kellett steps into his role as successor to Nick Wood. The new deal will certainly cause a stir in the market as Pets Corner appears to steadily become a serious competitor for Pets at Home.
