Founder Natalie Massenet has left online fashion retailer Net-a-Porter. She recently served as its Executive Chairman. She has reportedly sold her shares in Net-a-Porter and is leaving the company with over £100m.
This comes nearly a month before the online retailer is suspected to finalise a merge with Italian e-commerce rival Yoox. Massenet was to be the Chairman of the combined company. However, she will not remain a member of the Board of Directors of the new group resulting form the merger. Yoox founder Federico Marchetti is to be the Chief Executive Officer. Who will now be the Chairman?
