Endaba Group

Moss Bros total sales came in at £61.3m, 10% higher than last year. Their first-half pre-tax profits are up 44% to £2.8m, bolstered by their e-commerce growth, where sales are also up 55%. Their like-for-like retail sales rose to 9.7%. Chief Executive Brian Brick says their “customer offer is now more closely defined and aligned with our target customer groups and is steadily building equity”. The group’s financial performance is currently in line with the board’s expectations for the year. Brick also revealed that they are in the early stages of assessing their retail proposition for international markets. Moss Bros has teamed up with a franchise partner to launch a two-store pilot in the Middle East, the first of two opening later this year.

Additionally, Robin Piggott, the Finance Director, is retiring following their AGM in May next year. Piggott is to remain in his role until they have found a successor. They are commencing their search for a successor shortly.
