Lingerie is proving to be a bright spot for brands in China! Chinese consumers have gone from favouring logo-heavy luxury goods to spending their money on discreet high-end items such as lingerie. The uncertain economic conditions of the Chinese market have not touched lingerie, as it is less tied to trends and less prone to brand fatigue. Brands are beginning to take advantage of this huge opportunity; Agent Provocateur moved to China in 2013 and is seeing double-digital growth across the region. Victoria’s Secret will open its first full flagship store in Shanghai before the end of the year
