Two senior directors have left the DIY giant, spurring a restructure for the top team. Guy Colleau, Operations Director for ‘big box’, which holds the B&Q, Castorama and Koçtaş brands, and Alain Souillard, Operations Director for ‘medium box’, have left their roles. They were both integral to Kingfisher’s new structure, which Chief Executive Véronique Laury revealed two years ago, and were two out of three new Operations Directors that reported directly into Laury under this new structure. Kingfisher is now rethinking; both Colleau and Souillard’s roles will be combined into one and the Chiefs of the operating companies, such as B&Q and Castorama, will report into them.
Steve Willett, the third Operations Director alongside and Souillard, will remain the Operations Director for omnichannel, with the CEO of Screwfix reporting into him.
These departures come after Homebase’s entire executive team ahs been cleared out by new owners Wesfarmers.
