The British men’s and women’s fashion retailer is planning to expand into the European market, beginning with Switzerland. Jigsaw currently has 77 shops in the UK, 4 in the US, 5 in Australia, 2 in South Africa and 3 in the Middle East. They are also planning to increase their revenues from £100m to £500m.
They relaunched their menswear side three years ago. They currently have 5 menswear stores, but are attending to make it 20. Peter Ruis, CEO, is planning to add c.10 womenswear stores for each of the next 5 years to take the total to 125.
Jigsaw was recently in the press reportedly exploring a sale. Ruis denied these rumours, however, he said founder John Robinson will want to sell some of his 80% stake at some point
