Jaeger’s Human Resources Director Liz Jewitt-Cross is resigning from the business on Friday to start a new consultancy. She joined Jaeger at the end of 2013 from Joules, where she held the same role. Christine Cross, a Fenwick Non-executive Director has also left the business, as her contract as an external business advisor has ended. This comes not long after Jaeger Chief Executive Colin Henry left the business in September, halfway through their five-year turnaround plan. Peter Williams, Asos.com Director, also resigned as Chairman in May after six months. Mark Aldridge, Co-Founder of Better Capital, Jaeger’s private equity owner, left his role as Director of the retailer in May. Half of the six directors detailed in Jaeger’s return filed on Companies House in January have departed. The company’s directors are now Simon Pilling as Chief Executive, Harminder Atwal as Chief Financial Officer, Company Secretary Richard Warwick-Saunders and Better Capital Assistant Director Tom Wright as a Director.
It is unknown whether a search has started for a Human Resources Director replacement.
