Inditex has joined the $100Bn club!

Inditex SA, the world’s largest clothing retailer, has joined the $100bn club as the 36% gain in shares provided the Zara owner with a market value only c.80 companies worldwide have. The Spanish retailer’s value, whose brands also include Stradivarius and Massimo Dutti, reached $109bn for the first time. It as boosted by the increasing online sales, improving domestic economy and the weak Euro which is strengthening the value of revenue abroad. Inditex is the only Spanish company to have such a valuation.
