Stephen Riley has joined the board of family footwear brand Start-rite as non-executive chairman, following Peter Lamble’s announcement to step down from the business after 25 years. Riley has experience with 14 private and publically listed companies specialising in consumer brands and international development. These include Antler, Denby, Gilbert Rugby, Salter, Sealskinz, Thomas Sanderson, Colman’s, Powakaddy Golf, Lemsip and Gaviscon.


Vince has brought back its two founders Rea Laccone and Christopher LaPolice under a two-year pact, where they will oversee Vince’s product, merchandising and creative efforts. Vince had a tumultuous summer, plagued by product issues, decreasing sales, stock price declines and executive turnover, as both CEO Jill Granoff and Chief Creative Officer Karin Gregerson suddenly departed. They appointed Brendan Hoffman as new CEO last month to turn the company around. In July, they hired a Senior Vice President of Merchandising, Livia Lee whilst they still continue to search for a Chief Financial Officer.


Simon Holloway is to be Agnona’s new Creative Director. He will report to Chief Executive Officer Alessandra Carra and succeed Stefano Pilati, who left the company in July but continues to be Head of Design at Ermenegildo Zegna, who acquired the Italian fashion house in 1999.


Caroline Roth, Global Marketing and Communications Director, has left the company after two and a half years. She was responsible for the marketing, public relations, communications, digital marketing, store concept, visual merchandising and customer relationship management for the brand globally. She was credited for the company’s largest global brand campaign to date in 70 markets and spearheading the brand’s New York Fashion Week: Men’s presentation in September. Roth’s next moves are unknown.


Ulrik Garde Due is resigning as Chief Executive Officer. His role will bot be filled. Patricia Sancho has been promoted from Commercial Director to President and Matt Emerson will take on the joint role of Chief Financial Officer and Chief Operating Officer.


Alasdhair Willis and Emma Cook join the British high street label as Brand Consultant and Design Director respectively. Willis is retaining his current role as Creative Director at hunter. Cook will present her first collection for Warehouse in 2016.
