Ikea ramps up its pilot of small-format sites across the UK! The Swedish home furnishings company are trialing ‘order and collection point’ stores to make them more accessible to people in city centres. The trial began in Norwich, and the company have plans for stores in Birmingham and Aberdeen; it is also believed they are in negotiations for a space at BHS’s Oxford Street store! Ikea has plans to roll out more order and collection points throughout the year, adapting the format of each store to the market. The small-format store is an innovative way Ikea have adapted to their markets needs!
