Facebook announced its private photo-sharing application, Facebook Moments, is now available worldwide! The app uses facial recognition to determine which friends to suggest users share photos with, however Facebook has had to modify this feature in the EU and Canada due to privacy laws and regulations. The modified version can only suggest people that may be in the photos. The app also considers the date, time and location where the photographs were taken. More than 600 million photos have been shared in Moments and this is only set to increase now users are able to share worldwide!
