Drug-themed Moschino capsule pulled from Nordstrom

The controversial drug-themed Moschino ready-to-buy capsule has been pulled from Nordstrom stores and website after critics claimed it glorified drug abuse. A Change.org petition called for a boycott of Saks Fifth Avenue and Moschino for “blatantly” promoting drug use. The drug-themed capsule first debuted at Milan Fashion Week in September and includes a minidress and shoulder bag with mock prescription labels, a black minidress with a colorful pill pattern and a mock prescription package iPhone case among other pieces. Moschino Creative Director Jeremy Scott also came under fire in 2015 when graffiti artist RIME filed a copyright infringement suit against Moschino and Scott for allegedly using his art on a number of pieces from the Moschino fall 2015 collection.
