Diesel has restricted its European management team, amalgamating the Head of Northern, Southern and Central Europe into one role, which will be in its global head office in Italy. The European business will be run by Joanna Onland, who was the Managing Director of Southern Europe. Thorsten Link, the Regional Director for Central Europe has left. These changes are not expected to have too much of an impact for the UK, with no changes to the middle management structure for the UK. This new structure will allow Diesel to have a “more direct and consistent” management of its key accounts, specifically multi-brand retailers and department stores.
Hewlett’s new role will be revealed before Christmas, according to Drapers.
