BHS to go into liquidation

Endaba Group

British department store BHS is to go into liquidation, leaving a possible 11,000 people redundant after failed efforts to find a buyer. The decision comes after a lengthy bidding process to save BHS, which went into administration in April. Alteri, Hilco and Gordon Brothers have all been lined up as liquidators. All 163 stores will be holding closing sales over the coming weeks, likely leaving 8,000 members of staff redundant, while a further 3,000 jobs of non-BHS employees who work in the stores may also be at risk
