Bestellar join the British Ethical Trading Initiative

Endaba Group

Denmark’s Besteller has become a foundation stage member of the British Ethical Trading Initiative (ETI), where they have the possibility of becoming a full member if they show two years of successful commitment. Ethical trading is not new to the retail group, however they have now committed themselves to adopting the ETI’s code of labour practices and Principles of Implementation. The companies Sustainability Director, Mogens Werge said that “joining forces within the industry and taking a collaborative approach is the most efficient way of making real sustainable improvements”. Other members of the ETI include H&M, River Island, Tesco and Burberry.
