Apple is forecasting its 1st decline in 13 years. The world’s most valuable company, by both market shares and sales, is predicting £35-37bn in sales for the 3 months to the end of March, £40bn down from the same period last year. The global tech giant has said that its iPhone sales, their dominant product totalling 63% of the company’s entire revenue, have been at their slowest since its launch in 2007. If accurate, this will be the 1st revenue decline since Q1 2003! Apple’s stock value has dropped to below $100 for the first time since October 2014. What will Apple do in the months to come? Is this just a rebalancing act and will everyone experience this slow down?
