Ann Summers replatforms its website to back its global digital growth

Ann Summers, the sex toy and lingerie specialist, says the new site is directed to mobiles and allows the retailer to increase its online sales and “invest in the digital side” of the business.

Andrew Fellingham, Head of Online Sales, stressed the importance of adapting to be successful in today’s fast changing and dynamic digital environment. This new site allows the retailer to assist their global digital growth ambitions and innovate and meet the needs of the costumers faster and more efficiently.

It is also presumed the site will help the turnaround of the company who most recently published its full-year pre-tax loss of £3.6m for the 12 months to June 2014 in comparison to the pre-tax profit of £1.7m for the previous year.
