American Apparel CEO to step down

Endaba Group

American Apparel announced they are to lose their second Chief Executive in as many years! Paula Schneider will step down in October after taking the reins following the departure of Dov Charney, who was let go after being involved in numerous controversial lawsuits. Charney set up the company in 1989 and took over as CEO in January 2015 in a bid return it to its former glories. The fashion retailer has failed to turn a profit in 7 years, and filed for bankruptcy last October; it officially overcame bankruptcy in February this year, but has failed to make a turnaround since then!
