Amazon has been named UK’s favourite retailer by advertising group Havas; they asked 20,000 shoppers about the products’ quality and services and the contribution to society and community of big retailers, according to The Mail on Sunday. Marks & Spencer followed by in 2nd place, John Lewis in 3rd and Aldi 4th.
Meanwhile, the etailer is plotting a drive-through grocery store, whereby customers can order groceries online and schedule a pickup. It could potentially become a serious competitor to Lakeland-based Publix; the grocer has found it difficult to drive profit on online grocery shopping.
