THE CHALLENGE:

Endaba connected Pop Capital with New & Lingwood who ultimately bought the company. As a result, Endaba were retained to find the Jermyn Street heritage brand a new CEO to take the business on its next step and drive international growth after the acquisition. The key challenge was finding someone with a solid understanding and empathy towards a heritage brand, but with the experience and expertise to grow and scale the business on an international level.

 

THE SOLUTION:

We contacted 25 suitable candidates and shortlisted 5 strong candidates within 5 weeks. New & Lingwood interviewed all 5, finding their new CEO from the original shortlist. Not only did we have to find candidates that matched the business culture and had the necessary experience and skill set but we had to keep them engaged throughout the acquisition period.

 

THE RESULT:

A perfectly matched CEO was found for the business and also consulted for the business in the run up to their contracted start date. Pop Capital was very impressed with Endaba’s sensitivity and understanding of the brands heritage and the importance of finding the right person for this role.
